Thanks for coming to my Depeche Mode corner! Depeche Mode have been one of my favorite bands my entire life. Since I was a really young child my parents would play them in the car and as soon as I got into music as a kid around age 11/12 I truly fell in love with their entire discography. Today I still happen to have more DM on vinyl than almost any other band in my collection!
My mom has also been a lifelong Depeche Mode fan. Both of our first albums were Construction Time Again, which to this day continues to hold its status as one of my favorite albums. I think that I love every Depeche Mode album about equally, but Construction Time Again and Playing The Angel hold extremely special places in my heart!
I've seen them three times in my life! The first time I saw them was in 2017 in London at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (London Stadium) for the Spirit tour. I think it was the biggest venue I've ever seen a gig at! After that, I saw them in Manchester on the same tour that year and I got to go backstage and spend time with them! The most recent time I saw them was February 2024 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. It was my first trip to the Netherlands ever and I stayed two nights there and I loved it! I mainly went to see DM but I look forward to going back someday! My friend and I gave our spare ticket with VIP to a stranger outside of the venue and we ended up making a really great friend, it was definitely an unforgettable night for me!
While you're here, you can also check out my Depeche Mode MIDI collection! It's a limited collection of MIDIs that I have gathered from the internet over the past 10+ years, so I apologize if you've heard them before! I've carried my collection over from many many drives.
Feel free to also check out my Depeche Mode photo collection! I've collected this over years too as a teenager, I hope you enjoy!
To talk a little more about what I enjoy from Depeche Mode so much, I've always loved everyone and everything that they have contributed to the group and made them what they are today and have been for decades! I was always especially fond of Martin and I absolutely adore his songwriting. I love the songs that Alan and Dave have co-written a whole lot too. It would be extremely difficult to think of a Depeche Mode release that I didn't like... I'd love to try to put together a list of my favorite Depeche Mode songs but I think it might be impossible!! Something To Do, Fools, Everything Counts, A Question of Time, Strangelove, Sacred, Rush, Useless, John the Revelator... I don't think I'm gonna even try!!
I also want to add that putting all of this together is dedicated very wholeheartedly to the late Andrew Fletcher, whose passing has deeply saddened as well as shocked me and many of those in our lives. I want to wish the best for his amazing family as well as to the band as we try to move forward and place him lovingly in our memories. Rest in peace, Fletch. 🌹
I hope to add more here in the future, and I hope that you enjoy your visit here!
